“Skipper” a 23’ Mako C.C. with 200 hp Evinrude outboard motor, has top for shade from the sun lee outriggers, 2-pen downrigger, 12 rod holders, VHF, GPS, Loran, depth sounder, auto pilot, temp gauge, 406 epire and all U.S.C.G. safety equipment onboard.
Fishing Equipment includes Penn Int. 30” on custom rods, TLD 15 on custom rods, 15 Penn spin reals from 8 lbs to 20 lb test line.
Captain Eric has been fishing the Sebastian and Vero areas from 1977, 1984 he bought “Skipper” a 23’ Mako and started charters when off duty from the fire dept. From 1977 ti 1984 he commercial fish both inshore and offshore, Eric has Fished and dived in the area for 25 years so he knows all of the good spots, also he capt large sport fish in the Bahamas for the owners. His largest fish is a 770 lb blue marlin caught off of abacos and won at treasure cay. Also sailfish from Stuart to Sebastian in Stuart light tackle sailfish point pelican yacht club steward sailfish club events and has done very well.
Most of Eric’s fishing in and around Sebastian inlet inshore to Vero beach and offshore Sebastian for sailfish, dolphin, wahoo, cobin, kings Spanish, maks shark, blue marlin, amber jacks, snapper, grouper, seabars, and just about everything else that swims.
Fishing with Capt. Eric in fun and a learning experience I will show you places to go how to rig baits and bring in the big ones all you need to bring with you is sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, camera, what you like to drink and eat, a cooler for your fish. I will clean them for you bag them for your trip home.
Trips are half and full day for 1-3 people half day 275$ full day 400 includes all bait and tackle rod and reel
